Aside from singing in a few musicals in high school,i never did much musically until a friend gave me a Bob Dylan songbook with chords for guitar in the seventies.Not until i met a Czech guitarist in FREIBURG did the realm of music open for me again.We did some street singing,created a few original blues tunes,and played some pubs.

                                                   But in 2007 we parted ways,i moved to Dortmund and swept away in a creative wave,i posted over 130 originals and cover/harmonies.I bought 5 guitars,an amp,a mixer and a keyboard.In the mean time my tunes have been well viewed all over the web,even though i do not have one pro studio recording.I consider myself an amateur singer/songwriter and love piecing together melodies in my home studio-rjm

i have been reviewing young singers for a site called theskykid.com for about three years now.Its great to hear so many incredible new voices and watch young performers strutt their stuff.You will find many other album reviews by rjmendera on the site.Its usually a great pleasure to get to know some of these artists over the web. rjm
